Travatan Eye Drops | Uses, Side Effects, and Complete Information

Travatan eye drops are used to treat increased pressure inside the eye caused by glaucoma or other eye conditions (such as ocular hypertension). Lowering high intraocular pressure helps prevent vision loss and blindness. This medication works by regulating the flow of fluid within the eye to help maintain normal eye pressure.
It is recommended to visit the Eye Center at Batal Specialty Complex in Saudi Arabia for a comprehensive eye examination and to determine the most suitable and effective treatment.

How to Use Travatan Eye Drops
Use this medication in the affected eye as directed by your doctor, usually once daily in the evening. To apply it, first wash your hands to avoid contamination. Remove contact lenses before using the drops, and wait at least 15 minutes after applying the medication before putting your lenses back in.
Tilt your head back, look up, and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper directly over the eye and instill one drop. Look down and gently close your eyes for 1–2 minutes. Place one finger at the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) and apply gentle pressure; this helps prevent the medication from draining away. Repeat these steps for the other eye if instructed.
Use this medication regularly to get the maximum benefit from it. Try to use it at the same time every day so you don’t forget a dose.
